Praise for speaking
Anuradha is a skilled, intuitive, and energetic facilitator and teacher who frequently speaks at conferences, summits, trainings, workshops, and as a guest on podcasts. Here's what people have said about Anuradha's speaking.
'As soon as I saw Anuradha's talk on the schedule [for the conference] I made sure to be available for it.
I think Anuradha brought an extremely interesting analysis to the how and why we got here in the first place while constructing a very clear path for how it's possible to thrive as a business without exploitation.
Anuradha had a wonderful way of breaking these challenging concepts down in an engaging way. The talk was conducted in a fashion that allowed for conversation and discourse. I felt Anuradha was invested in the learning of attendees and wasn't simply there to drop information for us to process and then run away. '

'My friend Anuradha Kowtha is an incredible teacher, with such a powerful offering: Sowing Post-Capitalist Seeds for Business. I've taken this course (actually a version of it) TWO TIMES because Anuradha takes her students against the grain of a deeply embedded culture.
[In the course] you will likely be in a cohort of people who will both challenge and link arms with you.
If you're a small business owner, or part of an organization that's attempting to conduct business ethically, PLEASE get yourself some support. It's so good, the guest speakers are so good, and the manner in which Anuradha holds the space is really remarkable - worth the price of admission.'

'Anuradha is a captivating speaker and thinker. While presenting, Anuradha tells stories and gives visual examples of what is being discussed. These stories easily draw me in and help make Anuradha’s speaking feel multi-sensory and multi-dimensional. I feel like I am in a Master Class in ethical living. Anuradha breathes and shares and demonstrates an inspiring and high level of ethics throughout all of Anuradha’s speaking.
Anuradha helps me to envision a better world for my small business to be part of - I leave and immediately have the ability to better discuss my values and ethics for my business. Almost every time after hearing Anuradha speak I have gone directly to make improvements to my website, my mission statement, my inclusivity statements, etc. I am not only inspired to take action, I have concrete ideas from Anuradha in how to do it.'

'This course has given me the foundational tools to move forward with anti-fascist, anti-capitalist and anti-racist work with a more acutely critical, structural and political lens. It was exactly the primer I needed. All of the information was laid out right in front of me. Everything was right there — the articles, the book recommendations, the live action dialogue and non-judgmental learning container.'

'[This course] helped me to re-evaluate several sectors of my life. I
appreciated the wonderful breadth of learning materials, without an
emphasis on academic trappings, testing or arbitrary success
measurements.
I deeply appreciated the encouragement of participant contributions and the relative lack of hierarchy or success-oriented testing. I also appreciated the wide variety of learning materials without overemphasis on academic analysis. Additionally, I appreciated the pull towards global understandings rather than US-centrism, as well as a lot of globally Southern and indigenous perspectives that exist within this course.
A supportive cohort that normalizes expressions of grief and complex emotions as opposed to academic and emotional distance from the work. Also more shared power and horizontal power-sharing exists in this course than in other "coaching" courses of various varieties, and as such allows potential for the facilitators themselves to be better supported. This seems to be to be a reinforcement of a renewing rather than extractive model.'

'The course was extraordinary. The resources and perspectives presented were unique, shapeshifting, much-required and not easily available.
The course has given me a sharper picture of capitalism, oppressive cultures and especially how they impact those with marginalized identities. These perspectives were particularly therapeutic for me.
The course not only helped me get a deeper understanding of anti-capitalist ways of living and working, but it also loosened some of my strongly held beliefs. I’m able to accept and hold alternative perspectives with much ease.
The course has given me a pathway, tools and community to live in a way that’s aligned to my inner truth, in a world that makes little space for it. '

'I can see how capitalist resistance is not only possible, but already a part of how I've been living my life. I
can now dig into those practices, lifestyle choices, projects with full
abandon, knowing that my role in creating the new world after
capitalism is being fulfilled in the things I find most joy in. If you
have a feeling you don't like capitalism, but you can't pinpoint or
explain exactly why, join this program! It has brought me so much
clarity and given me the language I was missing to explain why I'm
interested in creating something beyond capitalism.'

'This course is super helpful if you are looking for a broad introduction to anti-capitalist thinking. The very structure of the course embodies the ideas they are promoting, and creates a safe space to fumble towards a new world together. This course is a journey through and beyond all the ways capitalism touches our lives, with fellow travelers who are committed to seeing the possibilities beyond it. I was impressed by the amount of trust that was able to be built over Zoom in our group.'
