What our clients have to say
Our clients, who are as diverse as, government agencies, community organizers, and training companies, come our work with a specific goal: to update employee policies, look into equitable pay, redistribution of their profits into marginalized communities, review a course curriculum or perhaps observe their facilitation with an accessiblity lens.
What they leave with is a paradigm shift: with a clearer sense of who they are as an organization, the ability to address equity and inclusion issues as their roots. They leave with a customized map of the way forward in a way that strengthens their work and gives them the foundation to be luminaries in their fields.

'Imagine for a moment you've experienced trauma & I as a Life Coach am sharing a message of "Happiness is a CHOICE".
Imagine that trauma being re-triggered on a regular basis. Trauma and oppression is NOT a choice.
Hidden within the message that "Happiness is a choice" is the message that if you are not choosing happiness, you're choosing pain.
Sometimes life is PAINFUL and that is NOT your FAULT.
Friends - this is one of the biggest reasons why I stepped away from coaching for as long as I did. I didn't know how to be present to the racial injustices and systematic oppression and trauma while also sitting with my practice as I knew it. I am forever grateful for the work of The Kowtha Constellation and I am even more grateful to continue that work in an upcoming series on ethical business practices.
If you're feeling slightly uncomfortable about this conversation I am here to say - THAT is a good thing - it means that you're ready for growth. They don't call it "growing pains because it feels good." Let's continue to learn and grow together.'

'As a mixed East Asian professional and entrepreneur who is upwardly mobile, I was struggling in how I navigated my relationship with both white colleagues and colleagues of color. I noticed that in my corporate environment, there is a very clear hierarchy of organizational roles that is stratified by race.
Having that awareness felt like a big emotional burden on me, and at the same time I wanted to do something about it. I was struggling to articulate and define my own feelings and how that would translate to the entrepreneurial work I do to make a broader cultural impact. Because of this, I felt frozen - I couldn't move forward in new business projects because I felt disempowered by both the racial bias I faced personally at work, and the complex emotions around seeing that a social problem is present and feeling pressure to "fix" it, yet not knowing how.
In the beginning, I hoped that working with Anuradha would give me a deeper perspective to understand both my own experience and that of others facing racial discrimination at work.
I was also nervous that I would be challenged harshly on my own racial biases, colorism, and white supremacist conditioning, especially knowing Anuradha is of Indian origin and the East Asian/South Asian tension was a big part of what I had been struggling with.
Throughout the work, I experienced a deep shift both in how I viewed myself and my own value as a human, and in how I conducted myself at work.
Anuradha's attentive and grounded presence helped me safely discuss and come to my own organic growth and conclusions on how I had previously tolerated exploitation at work, and how I responded to feeling exploited by others. Because of this work with Anuradha, I've been able to set better boundaries at work with managers and stakeholders (notably the white ones), as well as acknowledge and work to repair my own shortcomings when it came to how I treated my Black and South Asian colleagues who I was trained to see as "lower" than me.
The most valuable part of this process was the shift I made towards overcoming my own internalized racism, which allowed me to more clearly see when I was allowing myself to be a victim of systemic and institutional exploitation, and take clear action to improve my situation.
I understand that this is an ongoing process, but I have learned so much and the quality of both my personal and professional relationships has improved greatly. Things feel more equitable overall, I have learned to set boundaries around my workload, and there are greater opportunities for richness of experience, mending of harms done, and mutual appreciation between myself and my colleagues.'

When I get to learn from Anuradha, I always feel I am tilling up a field and Anuradha is helping me plan and strategize what to plant. Anuradha is filled with ideas and knowledge for how to craft a life and work that is truly more satisfying and inclusive. We met individually and Anuradha helped me come up with a multi-stage plan for a troublesome aspect of my business that left me feeling confident and clear and like I was working from my values rather than having them be separate from my work. Anuradha is showing me how to plant the values in the field that is my work. I am immensely grateful and highly recommend Anuradha’s teaching and consulting.
Anuradha helps me to envision a better world for my small business to be part of - I leave and immediately have the ability to better discuss my values and ethics for my business. Almost every time after hearing Anuradha speak I have gone directly to make improvements to my website, my mission statement, my inclusivity statements, etc. I am not only inspired to take action, I have concrete ideas from Anuradha in how to do it.'

'Sowing post capitalist seeds for business with Anuradha Kowtha is an absolutely life-changing course and program, and I am so glad to be a part of it, to learn from Anuradha, the incredible guest speakers and community.
If you are an entrepreneur or professional or parent or just any human invested in healing internalized capitalism, moving ethically and, particularly if you're BIPOC, really prioritizing being ethical and kind to yourself in and outside of business, I couldn't recommend a program more. An instructor like Anuradha is a complete gem.
The course, the readings and discussions also deeply enrich my own professional work with burnout recovery coaching for professionals and entrepreneurs, with many clients being ND and/or chronically ill.
Most business related programs out there are woefully inadequate at covering the historical impact of capitalism and helping folks craft an individualized roadmap to healing, while also learning how to run their businesses ethically under capitalism. If I am being honest, many folks don't know enough about the history of capitalism, antiblackness, anti-indigeniety and colonization to be teaching any kind of anti-capitalist business courses.
Sowing post capitalist seeds however is a game changer and can change your life in ways you'd never anticipated. It's helping me emerge from a cycle of chronic overworking and undercharging, something I've worked on with my own burnout recovery healing as a deeply marginalized person.
Oh and the guest speakers are phenomenal as well. So next time the course is offered, do not miss it. There is nearly nothing else like this program in the market that I've come across in the last couple of years. Also Anuradha has taken great care to make sure the course is accessible to folks with various access needs.
Truly an absolute pleasure to be a part of the course and community.'

Anuradha's session was deep yet full of sacred levity. She was so generous and covered everything I was hoping for plus much more. Her ability to create a container of immediate trust and expansive possibility made the work that much easier to receive. I felt seen and heard in my unique complexity yet not alone and with pragmatic ways of going forward with a most challenging socio-political ethos. Trancendent and grounded. Playful and serious. Thank you so much.

Working with Anuradha was an excellent experience all around, and their understanding of different work and entrepreneurship styles was the most inclusive and welcoming I've encountered in the business coaching realm. Anuradha's diligence in connecting authentically with clientele and holding meaningful, humanizing and values-driven conversations has always been a standout trait of theirs that I've encountered since getting to know them. I strongly advocate signing onto Project 360.

Anuradha's intake form included question which forced me to zero-in on what I wanted, what I needed. The word "forced" sounds bad, but as a creative introvert who thrives on spontaneity, I found that the questions on the form provided the guidance I needed even before Anuradha's strategy.
In the session, Anuradha pointed out my strengths, and also highlighted my shadow or weak spots. She pointed out my weaknesses, not to depress me, but to provide guidance on how to manage them. She did this with so much care.
What I especially loved was her action steps. Anuradha gave me at least five things I can do that aligned with what she discovered in the analysis. The actions align with my personality and I felt as if Anuradha provided a truly personalized approach.

With her sweet and gentle spirit, Anuradha helped me to understand my gifts and strengths. Through her explanation of my blueprint, I came away with clear action items to expand my life further. We all have our personal limiting beliefs and stories that we continue to believe unless we do something to break the cycle. Awareness is the first step to breaking our old patterns. Anuradha has helped me to realize certain patterns and ways I can support myself [to change them] going forward. I am not different than anyone else in wanting every day of my life to be meaningful. Anuradha gave me a perspective I had not heard before. She has given me tools to break old beliefs and the courage to live my life more fully. She has a gift and that give has made a tremendous difference in creating changes in my life.

I have benefited from various assessment and coaching methods to support my growth, but this sessionwith Anuradha felt so much deeper and personalized that anything I have experienced in the past. Anuradha has helped me to embrace my purpose and my unique gifts and how I need to show up in the world. This has given me incredible confidence and energy for my business and the potential to grow and impact more people who are struggling in their leadership journey. Anuradha is a truly gifted coach empowered with an amazing set of tools that I think everyone needs to experience to fully understand themselves and their life purpose and path. Truly a life and business changing experience for me!

Working with Anuradha was a viscerally affirming introduction into a whole system of understanding myself and others. The insights she shared were both deeply resonant and gently challenging in the most growth-affirming way.
She gave me ridiculously practical tools that I have used on a daily basis since our session and a whole new language to conceptualize and work through all the lessons that have come up during a time of many transitions.
I'm so deeply grateful for her sharing her wisdom and knowledge in a way that made me feel so seen and affirmed.

My experience with Anuradha and The Kowtha Constellation spans more than a decade. We have been colleagues, friends, and creative collaborators. Consulting with Anuradha has been instrumental to my business success over the years.
In particular, I have relied on her for diversity training. From both personalized, one-on-one consulting on recognizing and rooting out systemic problems such as racism, to a one time audit or curriculum development within a new business, her work has ensured that inclusion is given more than lip service in my companies. It is integral to company culture.
Her work is both professional and deeply life changing. I highly recommend taking advantage of any small business or corporate trainings she offers.

Anuradha has a unique ability to draw on different aspects when she does a discovery process with you. In just the first two sessions I was able to see places in my life and work that I was not taking ownership of the power I have and at other times where I might be even disempowering others because of programming. She was able to point out simple ways I could step back into my centre which has made me so self aware in the choices I have. I loved that she was able to open my eyes to the system we're operating in, within our lives and business. Anuradha gifts you the true to be able to see places where oppression might be playing out towards you or where you might be responsible for keeping these oppressive systems in place unconsiously. She combines this with illuminating your purpose and how you're best designed to work in the world. The beautiful combination of modalities that she draws on, enable you to receive unique insights to how you might be operating now and how best to align with where you really want to go.

Anuradha is an amazingly intuitive, sensitive mentor who hones in on the blockages business owners have in their psyche that may get in the way of their own success, brings them to awareness and helps clear them.
She provides useful, practical tools that can be used to help create a vision of your business and what you want to achieve from it, and then keep focused on that vision to help eliminate distractions that may sway you from your purpose. She instantly creates an atmosphere of acceptance and safely share deep fears and obstacles, shine a light on them, and let them go, opening them up to greater success.

I am so blessed and grateful to have worked with Anuradha Kowtha of The Kowtha Constellation. Our work together has been an absolute game changer for my work, for my business, and for me.
When I first met Anuradha, I had been doing some work on systemic privilege and more importantly how to make sure that my work was inclusive, equitable, and as relevant as possible to many different people, from many different walks of life. I wanted potential participants to be able to see themselves in my work so they could get the most value from my work. Most importantly, I wanted to ensure that there was minimal harm done by being a part of my programs, through working with me, and being a part of my communities.
When she assessed my facilitation and my work 'in action' through an Accessibility and Facilitation Audit, Anuradha gave me incredibly powerful and specific feedback on how to make The Universal Needs program more inclusive, accessible, and relevant. Here feecback and suggestions were not only insightful, bu also specifically relevant to my program. They were practical, which made them easier to apply and integrate. Anuradha's feedback is an incredible combination of direct (because it needs to be in order for you to understand it) and compassionate.
She was able to see my work through the intersections of so many different levels of marginalisation and feedback on what could be challenges for: Black, Asian, Indigenous or other people of colour, people with disabilities (especially a wide range of disabilities like chronic illness, invisible disabilities, mental health conditions, or a combination of the above), the LGBTQIA+ communities, and so many others. I haven't yet come across anyone who has been able to bring those multiple lenses and has been able to bring the level that Anuradha offers in this work.
Working with her has helped me to increase my awarenss of myself and go much deeper with my own work around the systemic privileges that I hold and more actively dismantle the places where it lives within me. I often say to Anuradha that I feel like I have her on my shoulder when I'm writing marketing copy, developing new content, or working with clients, constantly reminding and helping me to do better, and how to do that in a way that is accessible and supportive.
Ultimately, if it's your organization, you are at the centre of it and you need to lead with this from the core (rather than the 'top'). If you are someone who is creating content and delivering it you need to be aware of these things in order that you can minimize harm, maximize inclusivity, accessibility, and relevance.
Anuradha has changed the trajectory of my organisation for the future. Anuradha has helped me to understand that this work is ongoing and has shown the patterns in play, so I can continue to apply them in the long term too. I know through the work we have done together that I will be able to provide more relevant, accessible content, and support my clients so much better in the future. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend working with Anuradha.
